The Blueprint

General Overview

Sports performance and fitness journeys are a process. Our step-by-step blueprint is designed by the same strength coaches who are trusted by professional athletes to build the physical fitness foundation for optimal performance. Beginning with the mastery of bodyweight movement patterns to fully customized training to best suit your needs, the Edge Method Blueprint will help you reach your fitness and athletic goals.

  • For the average individual who is looking to follow a safe, trusted, results-based program built from the ground up

  • Our carefully crafted, 4 step method is for any adult or athlete 13 years and older.

  • Each step is built from a systematic, science based, injury preventative approach.

  • The Blueprint is video supported and accessible through the App called Teambuildr.

  • Each step is 4 weeks long and consists of a 4x a week training frequency which focusses on new training adaptations that support you to the following step.

  • We recommend you starting at Step 1 and progress accordingly to attain the full benefits. However, you can start on any of the steps you are comfortable with.


 The Blueprint


Step 1 : Introductory Training

  • Mastery of Bodyweight Movement Patterns

  • Establish Aerobic Base-Level Conditioning

  • Learn Proper Warm-Up/ Cool-Down Strategies

  • Improve Basic Joint Mobility


 

Step 2 : Beginner Resistance Training

  • Introduction of Resistance Training

  • Requires the Use of Bands, Dumbbells, and/or Machines

  • Aerobic and High-Intensity Interval Conditioning

  • Improve Joint Mobility and Flexibility


STEP 3 : Intermediate Resistance Training

  • Greater Emphasis on Weight Training

  • Requires the Use of Bands, Dumbbells, Barbells, Cables, and/or Machines

  • Several Conditioning Strategies (EX: aerobic, intervals, circuits)

  • Advanced Mobility Package


STEP 4 : Functional Training

Advanced Resistance Training Techniques

  • Olympic-style Weightlifting, Complex & Contrast Training

  • Plyometric & Speed Agility Quickness Training Program

  • Requires the Use of Bands, Dumbbells, Barbells, Cables, and/or Machines

  • Several Conditioning Strategies (EX: aerobic, intervals, circuits)

  • Advanced Mobility Package


STEP 5 : Full Customized Program

  • Now that you have built the foundation, work with our strength coaches to develop a training program that is best suited for YOU and YOUR GOALS in our customized program.
